Hamilton Character Sheet 01

This is a character sheet concept I done for the main character Hamilton in my series of personal story project, The Guardian Chronology.

In continuous to my previous illustration of Hamilton and Hephaestus, I tried with a line art style to illustrate the character style and emotions of this character.

New artwork for 2010 - Apollo The Sun God

I added a new artwork in my portfolio showcase. This art work is a series of concepts done for my personal story project, The Guardian Chronology.

Apollo the Sun God, also the eldest son of the mighty lord of Tierra De Diosis. He is the second highest in command, just below Zeus himself. But Apollo is a very ambitious god who anxiously await to overthrown his father so he can become the ultimate ruler of the land. He creates conflicts and plots to destroy the rebel while deceiving his father to take over power.

Inspired by the Greek mythology description, I illustrated Apollo to hold a very huge Kithara floating on his back which can be use to become a huge bow to fire his lightning arrows, while the Kithara itself can be use to slash his enemy in pieces with the beam threads.

Gundam 00

This recently I have been watching an anime series alled Gundam 00, which is in season 2 a year ago. It has a very interesting nice story about how the future will be in the near future, which has some similiarity to the situation nowadays. Here how is the story synopsis in rough:

In another 200 years to the future, the world now had divided into different continent with major power. The four continents in government are China, Us, Europe and Middle Eastern. Among the four government, the middle eastern had become very poor because of the depletion of natural petroleum which made them very rich in the past but now they have fallen to the threat of the other continent which had solar power technology. So a new force called the celestial beings which had Gundams to dissolve the other governments armies from conquering the weaker ones. At the end the world unite into one whole new Earth Union, but like most story human never seems to learn their lesson and ignite a new war again.

I highly recommend for people who craze for anime and cool mechs and characters. Gundam 00, you rocks!

I am Ashley.

This is my first blog for the year, so how do I start it?
I would say "I love magazine!"

I love everything inside magazine - from fashion shoots to beauty tips. And for sure, I have limited space to store up all my magazinesss...

No choice, but I have to throw away all expire magazines...

If not, I would cut out those useful resource to keep as reference and compile into a file. As for the advertisement pages which consist almost 50% of the magazine, I would cut them out and use it to decorate my shoe box. Trim them and montage all the cut-outs, above photos are my final artworsk. Totally wrap up with plastic book cover to ensure the durability of this storage box.

2010 - A New Hopes

The year is 2010, the first year that we have finally start our plan for Claash Studio production. My name is Clarence and Ashley my lovely wife, we have embarked so much discussion about this plan since last year and had an at least 3 years plan of what to do with this ambitious fun time project. But first ahead, lets introduce ourselves.

At a start, I am a 3D game artist working for a next-gen online multiplayer game company named RealU in Singapore. My passion for creative allows me to experienced 3D artworks and illustration in the past, for a year I have showcased illustrations on some of the art forums. I hope through this blog that I can share further thoughts about those works.

For Ashley, she is a graphic designer cum management staff. She also enthusiastic on craft making and fashion design. Her passion and interests had let her to be multitasks on a lot of matters, further more management experience than me.

So we had started this blog and will flock a lot more posts with creative artworks possible in the future. lets hope we can achieve what we had plan to start here, with hopes and creative ideas generating endlessly.
